TAMIL Nesan reported that an effigy of People’s Progressive Party president Datuk M. Kayveas was burnt at the Batu Caves Temple ground around noon on Sunday.
The 200-odd people, mainly from DAP, PRM, Keadilan and Parti Reformasi Insan Malaysia, refused to disperse despite police warning not to burn the effigy.
