PENANG: The Malaysian Thai community had a splashing time at the Chaiyamangalaram Thai Buddhist Temple (Reclining Buddha) in Burmah Lane here yesterday in conjunction with the Songkran Festival.
Commonly called the Water Festival, the annual event is celebrated by the community to usher in their new year.
