KOTA KINABALU: An Umno division here wants the Barisan Nasional to review the rotation system for the post of Sabah Chief Minister, and has proposed that the component party with the most seats be given the post for a full term.
The system implemented by the Barisan in 1994 allowed for a rotation among the Muslim bumiputra, non-Muslim bumiputra and Chinese to hold the office of Chief Minister for two years each.
