KUANTAN: Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad would be a good choice to mediate between the United States-led forces and Arab nations to help end the anarchy in Iraq, said Umno secretary-general Tan Sri Khalil Yaakob.
He said that based on the Prime Minister’s excellent leadership and his international stature as a political leader, Dr Mahathir could help to bring a sense of normalcy and peace in Iraq.
