KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia and Thailand will be part of a friendly delegation to meet and invite North Korean officials to attend the Asean Regional Forum in Cambodia this June in a move to ease mounting tensions between the United States and North Korea.
Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Syed Albar said Asean Standing Committee and the Asean Regional Forum chairman Cambodia had called on Malaysia and Thailand to become facilitators to initiate a dialogue with North Korea.
