Suspected SARS case in Penang

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has recorded eight new suspected cases of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Thirty-two others are reported to be in stable condition in isolated wards nationwide. 

At a press conference to update the SARS figures yesterday, Health deputy director-general Datuk Dr Ismail Merican said those in isolation were in: Kuala Lumpur (six), Selangor (six), Perak (five), Kedah (four), Kelantan (three), Penang (three), Sarawak (three) and Johor (two).
