PETALING JAYA: The hotel industry has encouraged Malaysians to travel within the country as the Government has discouraged travel to China, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The Malaysia Association of Hotels also advised Malaysians not to worry about the virus when staying in local hotels, as the hotels are constantly in touch with the Health Ministry, and member hotels are kept informed about the virus and what to do if a hotel guest shows signs of SARS.
