Group appeals to Abdullah to release reformasi activists detained under ISA

A GROUP of individuals cornered Acting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the Parliament lobby appealing to him to release four reformasi activists who have been detained under ISA for two years. 

Wearing visitors' tags, wives of Saari Sungib and Hishamuddin Rais were among those who approached Abdullah after a press conference to hand over a memorandum asking for the release of their husbands.
