Court to hear appeal against decision to acquit cop

KUALA LUMPUR: The Court of Appeal will hear on Thursday the prosecution's appeal against a High Court decision to acquit suspended policeman Tony Beliang of a manslaughter charge. 

Justice Abdul Kadir Sulaiman, who sat with Justices Mohd Noor Ahmad and Rahmah Hussain, fixed the hearing date when the appeal was called before the panel yesterday.
