KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Malay Journalists Association has condemned the US network NBC News for sacking veteran journalist Peter Arnett over an interview he gave to Iraqi television.
President Yazid Othman said the sacking could be seen as a warning to other journalists in the US media that they should not stray from the official line in the US-led war against Iraq.
