Ex-Chinese drama actor found hanged at workshop

KLANG: The body of a former Chinese drama actor was found hanging from a beam at a petrol station workshop in Jalan Haji Sirat here. 

The body of Liu Chin Kiong, 36, who lived in nearby Taman Klang Utama, was spotted by workers of the petrol station at about 8am yesterday, hanging from a leather belt. 

According to Liu’s mother, he had left home at around 1am on his brother’s motorcycle and was not seen after that. 

Klang OCPD Asst Comm A. Paramasivam said police did not suspect foul play.  

The body was taken to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for a post-mortem. 

Liu joined HVD Film Production in the early 1990s and acted in over 20 TV series.
