SHAH ALAM: There is sufficient stock of most essential food items for the next three months but oil supplies are good for only one to one-and-a-half months if the war in Iraq continues.
The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry, however, said it was monitoring the situation and gave an assurance that the Government would ensure the situation in Iraq did not drastically affect Malaysia.
