KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court judge, who convicted Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of sodomy, was wrong in disallowing former family driver Azizan Abu Bakar to re-testify in court to assess his credibility, the Court of Appeal heard yesterday.
Counsel Karpal Singh said the defence team had decided to recall Azizan after learning that he had faced khalwat charges at the Syariah Court.
