KUALA LUMPUR: Thirty-five people from a list of 52 Malaysians who stayed in Hong Kongs Metropole Hotel during the atypical pneumonia outbreak are confirmed not to have the disease but the remaining 17 have yet to report to the authorities.
Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Mohamad Taha Arif said 35 Malaysians from the list provided by the Malaysian consul-general in Hong Kong had reported to the ministry and were cleared of any suspicions of having the disease.
