PENANG: The car salesman, who was shot dead in Burma Road on Feb 27, was about to report to the authorities the activities of a syndicate specialising in renewing the road tax of blacklisted vehicles when he was killed.
Ng Man Tau, 33, a devout Buddhist, had apparently told his friends that he was about to “bust” the syndicate’s multi-million ringgit activities a few days prior to his death.
