KUALA LUMPUR: Murder accused Datuk Balwant Singh's daughter-in-law was too terrified to offer him any help when a despatch rider allegedly assaulted him with a stick in Bangsar last year, a High Court heard yesterday.
Ranjeet Kaur, who is also the 81-year-old lawyer's secretary for the last six years, said she was “too frightened to come out of the car” because the deceased, R. Gobala Krishnan, was very violent at that time.
