PENANG: The prosecution yesterday withdrew its appeal against a Sessions Court sentence, which found former Parti Keadilan Nasional vice-president Marina Yusoff guilty of sedition two years ago.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Roslan Abu Bakar told the court that his office had received instructions to withdraw the appeal to enhance the sentence.
