KUALA LUMPUR: Having made it big in Taiwan, Malaysian singer Fish Leong has come a long way since her humble beginning in a local songwriting contest.
The Kuala Pilah native was picked by top Taiwanese producer Jonathan Lee to record albums with Rock Records in Taiwan after he heard her on a local compilation album. Her debut with Rock called Growing Up was released in 1999 and it was a best-seller. Since then Leong has released four other albums, the latest being Beautiful Life.
