KUALA LUMPUR: Election candidates who resort to dirty tactics and misconduct during campaigning risk being caught on videotape.
Under proposed amendments to the Election Offences Act to be tabled in July, election-monitoring teams to be deployed in every parliamentary constituency will be armed with video and tape recorders to record wrongdoings by candidates and their campaigners.
