PUTRAJAYA: Private hospitals are suffering substantial losses because insurance firms refuse to pay for certain claims by patients who received medical treatment, said Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia president Datuk Dr Ridzwan Bakar.
He said the claims were usually turned down because the patients did not disclose certain ailments when they bought the medical insurance.
