KUALA KLAWANG: It is up to the police to decide if recent actions of Opposition leader Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang have contravened the law, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.

Referring to Abdul Hadi's criticisms against the Royal Address in Parliament on Monday and attendance at an Islamic radical group meeting in Indonesia in October 2000, Dr Rais said:”We do not tell them (the police) what to do. It is up to them to decide whether the acts are prejudicial to security or under the various laws pertaining to public order,” he said.
