Security guard flees with banks' monies

KUALA LUMPUR: A 43-year-old guard of a security firm fled with more than RM500,000 cash during a routine collection from banks in the city centre here yesterday. 

In the 10am incident, the guard who was an ex-soldier, arrived with three colleagues at the RHB bank branch in Jalan Ipoh for collection. The four had earlier collected RM527,000 from an RHB bank outlet in San Teck Garden, Cheras and EON Bank in Tuanku Abdul Rahman.
