KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) disagreed with the Health Ministry's plan to make it compulsory for Malaysians to make monthly contributions to the National Health Insurance Scheme.
Its executive director, Shamsuddin Bardan, said it was unclear whether the level of medical treatment would be based on the rate of contribution or it would be equal for everyone, irrespective of the contribution rate.
