RM49,300 more for burn victim’s skin graft

IPOH: A housewife whose family was seriously injured in a gas tank explosion last month has received a further RM49,344 in donations to help pay for her son’s treatment in Singapore. 

Tan Siew Geok’s husband, Loh Kah Soon, 43, died on Feb 29 while her son U Fatt, 11, who sustained 50% burns, has been sent to the International Burn Unit of the Singapore General Hospital to undergo a series of skin-grafting operations.
