PETALING JAYA: Penang-born actress Janet Khoo may be petite but she has lived up to her reputation in the local film industry as someone who can take tough work. 

The model-turned-actress plays the part of Siew Lan, the vicious daughter of a communist leader, in the RM3mil movie, Paloh, which will hit the screens in June.
