“Participation for the central region’s preliminary round is already full,'' said ESU Malaysia secretary Jeffri Amir Osman.

Open to all Malaysian students aged 16-20, the preliminary round kicked off on March 8 at the KDU College in Penang.

The grand finals will be held here on March 29 and the two top winners will represent Malaysia at the International Public Speaking Competition in London in May.

Topics for the first two stages on Saturday are “All work and no play” and “Youth” while the semi-final topics are “A healthy mind needs a healthy body” and “Imagination should know no boundaries”.
