JOHOR BARU: Five illegal immigrants were found huddled in the boot of a car that used the green lane to enter Malaysia at the Causeway here on Sunday.

The foreigners – a Thai man and woman, two from Myanmar and a Chinese national, all aged between 32 and 37 years old – were believed to have been smuggled out of Singapore as their work permits and social visit passes had expired.
