KUALA LUMPUR: With war on Iraq looming close, Mercy Malaysia is sending a four-man team to Iraq before March 20 to set up base at the Iraqi-Jordanian border to provide medical and humanitarian relief once the bombings start.

Mercy president Datuk Dr Jemilah Mahmood said the team would be there to start planning and co-ordinate efforts at the border where the volunteers were going to be stationed and also start up a basic health unit in anticipation of Iraqis fleeing there.
