PUTRAJAYA: Attorney-General Datuk Abdul Gani Patail said it would be a good idea to set a timeframe for police to complete their investigations in the light of delays highlighted about some high profile cases.
He said the public normally put the blame for such delays on his department, especially when police came out with statements that they had passed the investigation papers to the Attorney-General’s Chambers and when the process of prosecution did not follow suit.
