PM pays tribute to Tunku

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the deeds of first Prime Minister and Bapa Kemerdekaan Tunku Abdul Rahman to the people and country cannot be repaid monetarily. 

In his message in conjunction with the issuance of the Bapa Kemerdekaan stamps and first-day covers yesterday, Dr Mahathir said Tunku’s charisma, beliefs and determination had succeeded in placing the foundation for the country’s development and the progress of the people generally.
