KUALA LUMPUR: Liver transplant involving a living unrelated donor is against transplant policy and unethical, said Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Mohamad Taha Arif.
Surgeons involved in such operations can be charged in court for violating medical ethics outlined by the ministry.
