KUALA LUMPUR: South countries must confront their own weaknesses before they can demand to be taken seriously as players in the international arena, Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad said.
“A shared colonial past cannot permanently guarantee the unity and cohesion of the South,” the Prime Minister said.
