KUALA LUMPUR: The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) is calling on TV3 and ntv7 to incorporate sign language in their news segments.
Prof Chiam Heng Keng, who heads the Suhakam education working group, said the hearing impaired asked for subtitles in the news programmes and the use of sign languages so that they could follow current developments in the news easily.
