Gunman wounds businessman

SABAK BERNAM: A seafood restaurant owner was injured when a man shot him in front of his house at Taman Makmur, Sungai Besar, here, on Friday. 

He said that in the 1am incident, the 30-year-old man was wounded in the chest after being shot by a man who was believed to have been following him earlier. 

“The victim was returning home after closing his restaurant. When he was opening his gate, a man suddenly alighted from a car and shot him,” he said here yesterday.  

The spokesman said the victim, who was being treated at the Selangor Medical Centre, was reported to be in stable condition. – Bernama
