ALOR STAR: The Alor Star Wanita MCA division raised RM50,000 for the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) building fund from a national open Chinese karaoke contest it organised on Friday night.
The money was raised from contributions by sponsors and sale of dinner tickets for the event.
