KUALA LUMPUR: The large sums of money spent by the Government to conduct anti-drugs campaigns have not gone to waste despite statistics showing that the number of addicts have increased.
Deputy Home Minister, Datuk Zainal Abidin Zin said an average of RM100mil was allocated to agencies such as the police and National Narcotics Agency to not only conduct campaigns but rehabilitation courses and enforcement measures as well.
