THE eviction of 200 families in Kampung Letchumana Jaya in Batu Caves, Selangor, on Wednesday to make way for a development project with a promise that they would be allocated low-cost flats at the same site received prominence in Tamil Nesan.
The daily reported that Sungai Tua assemblyman V. Thiagarajan as saying that 12-storey low-cost flats would be built at the site for the affected families.
