THE business and industry circles are unfazed by Indonesia’s temporary halt to send its workers overseas, with most trade leaders saying that the move will have only a minimal impact on the Malaysian economy.

According to Sin Chew Daily, local business and industry bosses said the Indonesian government’s move was unlikely to cause a labour shortage in Malaysia as the country could easily turn to countries like Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos for workers.
