KUALA LUMPUR: An Assistant Superintendent of Police, who was robbed during a hold-up at a hardware shop fired several shots the robbers fatally injuring one of them as they fled the outlet in Jalan Setapak here yesterday.
The robbers had earlier put a parang to the officer's neck and ordered him to surrender his wallet and mobile phone before they scooped about RM500 in cash and valuables from the shop's cash register in the 5pm incident.
