TAIPING: Padi farmer Mat Saad Isa was determined to kill Hasleza Ishak because he was afraid that some “orang-orang Raja (acquaintances of the royal family)” would harm his family if he failed to carry out their instructions to do so, a High Court heard yesterday.
Mat Saad, 50, a co-accused turned prosecution witness, said during re-examination by DPP Nordin Hassan that he started having an intention to kill after a conversation with one of the accused, Rahim Ismail, 47.
