KUANTAN: Police will soon hand over its investigations on the clearing of land in Blue Valley in Cameron Highlands to the Attorney-General chambers.
Pahang police chief Datuk Mat Drus Sudin said the investigation was carried out following a report lodged by the Cameron Highlands district land office.
“He said police are investigating the case under Section 18 and Section 6 of the Land Conservation Act 1960.
“We have interviewed all witnesses and are now in the process of tying up the loose ends,” Mat Drus told reporters at a farewell ceremony for outgoing Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Jamil Johari here yesterday.
