KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court yesterday threw out an application by a victim of the Kampung Medan riots against the Malaysian Human Rights Commission (Suhakam) and five others for allegedly failing to conduct an inquiry into the March 2001 incident.
Justice Abdul Malik Ishak allowed the defendants' request to strike out general worker V. Subramaniam's action filed against them last year.
