Construction of Penchala Link ahead of schedule

PETALING JAYA: The construction of the RM450mil Penchala Link of the Sprint Highway, undertaken by locals, is ahead of schedule and expected to be completed before August next year, Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu said. 

“The 710m twin tunnels, which is constructed with the assistance of foreign technology, will have three dual-carriageway, making it the widest in Malaysia,” he told reporters after visiting the site in Mont Kiara yesterday.
