PENANG: The proposed new Gurney Drive will be built on 52ha of reclaimed land and it will feature a 4ha linear garden park, Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon said.
He said the new Gurney Drive would be much bigger and longer than the present stretch, adding that the current stretch was narrow and the shore was muddy and smelly during low tide.
