IPOH: The Rural Development Ministry plans to scout and train about 2,000 poor Indians to become successful businessmen by the end of next year, said Deputy Minister Datuk G. Palanivel.
He said the ministry had already started the programme by recruiting 550 people who were given about RM1mil in loans over the past 18 months.
