1,000 in peaceful protest at US Embassy

KUALA LUMPUR: About 1,000 Malaysians held a peaceful protest outside the US Embassy as part of a global mass rally to protest against a possible US-led war on Iraq. 

Police personnel armed with shields and batons were seen forming a barricade before the gathering began at 11am. The embassy was closed yesterday.
