PETALING JAYA: A 15-year-old boy, who was a member of a robbery gang, was killed and his 17-year-old accomplice suffered serious injuries when their getaway car crashed in front of the Puchong IOI mall early yesterday in a high-speed car chase mounted by their victims soon after the incident.
The victims – a manager of a snooker-cum-video arcade and his two staff – recovered their cash and valuables. However, they were robbed a second time when another group of men, pretending to ask for directions at the accident scene, overpowered them and fled with the cash.
