KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians travelling overseas, especially children, the elderly and those with chronic ailments, have been advised to get influenza vaccinations or flu shots two weeks before their departure.
Health Minister Datuk Chua Jui Meng said that it was not mandatory, but Malaysians were advised to get the vaccination as a precaution following reports of an outbreak of pneumonia-like illness in China.
