International 4-D syndicate busted

JOHOR BARU: Police crippled an international four-digit betting syndicate with the arrest of two Singaporean men and a Negri Sembilan couple in a raid at a condominium in Jalan Mohd Taib here on Thursday.  

State CID chief Senior Asst Comm II Tan Seng Eng said a police team from the vice, gambling and gangsterism prevention unit conducted the 5.30pm raid following a tip-off from a member of the public.
