KUALA LUMPUR: The Culture, Arts and Tourism Ministry has threatened to revoke the licences of tour operators who tarnish the country’s image by providing sub-standard service to tourists.

Commenting on an incident in Johor where several hundred Chinese tourists allegedly staged a mass protest against tour operators for providing poor service, Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen said she would seek a meeting with the Malaysian Tour Guides Association for an in-depth discussion on the matter.
